목사님 제발...부담스러워 떠납니다 Please Father... I am leaving...

한국 교회들이 성도수가 많아지면서 언제부터 교회 크기/성도수 = 성공/파워이라는 공식이 세워졌다는 느낌이 많이든다... 한국처럼 작은 나라에 세계에서 톱10에 드는 교회가 여러 곳 있다는 것만 봐도 근접적으로 알 수 있다...
along the way of growing exponentially, it seems as if Korean churches established a following equation; size/number = success/power... one can indirectly tell by how a small nation like Korea, has the reputation of having several of the top 10 churches in the world...

실제로 그런 대형교회에 다녀보지는 않았지만... 솔직히 작은 교회에서 성장한 나로써는 전혀 감히오지 않는다...
though i've never attended such great churches, i confess, for a boy grown up in a small church, i have no idea what it is about...

전에 한국에 한번 갔을때 티비로 들은 목사님 설교 소감은... 어수선하고 와닫는 것도 없으며 그냥 설교만 듣고 교제 및 활동 없이 집으로 돌아왔다...
my thoughts on a sermon through a TV on my last visit to Korea? chaotic and nothing gets through. i just heard voices and went back home without any communion nor activities.

왜 다들 그렇게 큰 교회를 추구하는 것일까? 돈(헌금) 때문일까? 교회가 크다고 큰 일을 더 많이 감당할 수 있을까?
Why do they want such big churches? is it money(donation)? or is it because a bigger church can do more of God's work?

성경에서는 항상 사람의 생각과는 반대로 일하시는 하나님을 찾아볼 수 있다... 다윗과 골리앗이 그랬으며 본인이 좋아하는 갈렙 할아버지와 거인의 땅 헤브론도 그렇다...
but in the bible, you always find instances where God works in ways human think differ... just look at David and Goliath and my favorite, Caleb and land of the giants, Hebron...

본인이 생각건데 대형교회에 다니면서 선데이 크리스찬, 즉 주일에만 교회 다니는 기독교인들이 많아진것 같다... 한마디로 이름만 교회에 등록하고 생활은 않믿는 사람하고 똑같이 행동하는 사람들이다...
In my opinion, because of the bigger churches, there are more of 'sunday christians'... Those who goes to church only on Sunday... Their name is registered with the church but they do not live according to the bible; they are indifferent to rest of the world.

그룹에 한마리의 미꾸라미만 있어도 물을 더럽힌다고 했는데 대형교회에만 해도 수없이 많은 미꾸라미들이 있는데 어찌 사람들이 기독교를 욕하지 않겠는가?
there's a saying... a single fish in a pond can stir up the water; there are thousands of these fish in the big churches, how can the world not criticize the church?

자신을 기독교인이라고 칭하지만 말고 진정 기독교인처럼 행동하기를 바라는 바이다...
do not call yourself a christian if you cannot act like a true christian...

교회! 하나님을 믿는 또는 믿고 자 하는 사람들의 모임과 소통의 장, 그 본래적 목적의 회복을 위해 교회를 도구화하고, 사람을 도구화하는 매개의 변증에서 벗어나자.
church! a place where people of God or people who wants to believe in God comes together. Let us rid ourselves of greed and alterations and return to the true purpose of the church...
