치앙라이 여행기 - 왓 롱쿤 백색 사원 Chiang Rai Travel Diary - Wat Rong Khun White Temple

치앙라이에서 가장 유명한 왓 롱쿤 백색 사원에 다녀왔습니다.
i went to infamous Wat Rong Khun White Temple in Chiang Rai.

왓 롱쿤 백색 사원은 2008년도에 완공된 현대식 사원으로 불교와 힌두 스타일 사원입니다... 사원은 특이하게 하얀 유리로 디자인 되어있으며 치앙라이 공항에서 약 10km 떨어져 있습니다...
Wat Rong Khun White Temple is Buddhist & Hinduism temple completed on year 2008... the temple is designed using white glass, giving spectacular view of the temple... the temple is around 10km from the chiang rai airport...

저는 치앙라이 공항에서 차를 빌려서 다녀왔습니다~
i rented a car from chiang rai airport...

현대식 사원이라서 그런지 디자이너의 생각이 담겨져 있었습니다... 사원같이 않은 사원이지요...
since its a contemporary temple designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, its full of his "subtle" images... its very unconventional...

화이트 템플 시작부터 색다르다... 해골로 되있는 콘... 훗...
the tour begins with a difference... the skull cone... lol

디자이너가 프레데터를 좋아하나 보다... 사원 곳곳에서 프레데터를 찾아볼 수 있다...
the designer must like the predator... you can find predator in many places within the temple grounds...

해골도 좋아하나 보다... 훗... 빨간 해골도 인상적이다...
he must also like the skull... lol... red skull is impressive...

대롱 대롱 매달려있는 머리들...
hanging heads for decoration...

금으로 도색된 문양 중간에 있는 부처님...
Buddha in the middle of golden designs...

하연 사원이 멋지다...
white temple is majestic...

양쪽으로 지옥이 보인다... 구원을 원하는 인간들이 손을 들어 도움을 청하고 있다...
on the path to glory... you can see hell on either side of the bridge... people are seeking for help...

천국으로 가는 길을 보호하고 있는 수호자들...
guardians of path to heaven...

각 디자인은 세부롭고 아름답다... 햇빛이 있었으면 더 아름다왔을것 같다...
each design is detailed and pretty... if there was sunlight, it would have looked better...

이 사원안으로 들어가면 벽화가 있는데 벽화 중간 중간에 슈퍼맨, 배트맨, 프레데터 등 유명한 영화 캐릭터들이 있다... 안에는 사진을 찍으면 않된다고 해서... 아쉽다...
when you enter this temple, you will see mural on the walls with various movie characters such as superman, batman and predator... since i am not allowed to take pictures inside, i didnt... sigh...

하얀색의 정교함... 아름답구나...
such pretty designs... bea-u-tiful...

주변에 추가로 몇개 더 짓고 있다...
and his work continues; he is building few more besides it...

옆에는 디자이너의 갤러리도 있는데 그의 그림 또한 심히 심란하다... 뜻 깊은 상상의 세계를 펼쳐두었다...
they even have designer's gallery; his pictures are as intriguing as the temple... imaginary world with deep meanings...
