브이포벤데타 V for Vendetta [2006]

현 정부가 맘에 않드는가? 그럼 한번 브이포벤테타를 한번 보세요... 정부, 대기업, 미디어는 한족속이다... 미디어는 정부의 더러움을 덮어주고 대기업을 가지고 있는 정치인은 국가의 법을 자신의 대기업에 유리하도록 바꾼다... 태국의 탁신이 그러하였으며 한국의 정치가들도 많이 있다.
dont you like your current government? then watch V for Vendetta... government, big corporations, and media are one... media covers the dirt of the government while politicians who own big corporations will change the law to benefit their own corporation... Taksin of Thailand did that and there are dozens of politicians in Korea as well.

영화를 통해 간단한 예를 보여주고 싶다... 먼저 미디어에서 무서운 뉴스를 보여준다... 그것도 아주 강하게 과장하여 노출한다... 예를 들어 조류독감 사망자 10,000명...
I'd like to introduce a simple example through a movie... irst, media shows a breathtaking news; the sort of news that strike fear into people... for example, 10,000 dead by avian flu...

미디어를 보면 사람들을 두려워하고, 두려운 사람들은 필요없는 보험이나 물건을 사게 마련이다...
people who listen to media will start to fear, and those fearful people will buy insurance or things that they dont really need.

결국 이익은 보험사나 제약사이다... 미디어에서도 중간에서 챙겨가는 것이 있겠지...
so the insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies will make profit... media will have their share in the middle...

그럼 정부는 어떠한가... 몇 명의 정치가는 보험사나 제약사의 주가를 가기고 있어 그들이 챙겨가는 것도 많다...
and where does the government come in? some politicians will have shares in insurance or pharmaceutical companies and definitely have their share...

그런데 나중에 알고 보면 첨 질병을 퍼트린 자는 정부이거나 제약사이다... ㅎㄷㄷ... 자신이 아무도 모르게 시작하고 영웅처럼 등장하여 끝맺음을 하는 것이다...
but later on, we find out that the disease is spread by the government... OTL... they start it without anyone noticing and comes into the picture like a savior and end the crisis...

마케팅이란게 그런거 아닌가... 사람들을 현욕하는 것... 필요없는 물건을 포장해서 판매하는 것...
isn't that key point in marketing? to lure people into buying things that they don't really need?

참된 정부는 그런 자본주의 사상에서 시민들을 도와주어야 하는데... 정부는 시민을 두려워하기 보다는 돈을 더 사랑한다...
a good decent government should protect its people from these capitalistic corporations... but the government loves money more than the fear of the people...

그래서 결국 정부에서도 "마케팅"을 열심히 한다...
so the government is at the front lines of "marketing"...

브이 포 벤데타는 정확히 이런 얘기는 아니지만 정부에 불만있던 일인이 사회의 도움으로 정부를 붕괴하는 이야기이다...
V for Vendetta is not exactly the same story but a person who didn't like the government stood up against the government; in the end, with the help of the society and its people, the government falls...

여기서 벤테타 (Vendetta)의 뜻은 복수이다...
Vendetta means revenge...

현 삶에서 어떻게 적용할까 생각해 볼만하다...
