표절과 도둑질... plagiarism & theft...

요새 문대성 정치인을 포함하여 많은 정치인들과 유명인들의 논문 표절이 드러나고 있는데... 참 한심한것 같다... 보통 표절에 대해서는 중학교 때부터 도둑질이라고 명확히 배우고 대학에 들어와서는 표절 방지하는 수업까지 따로 있지 않던가?
recently, many popular figures such as Dae Sung Moon, the politician, are found guilty of plagiarism... such pity and shame... don't we learn not to plagiarize and that plagiarizing is theft since youth? there's even a class in college how not to plagiarize...

그런데 박사학위까지 받은 사람이 표절이라니... 지적 소유권은 물질 소유권보다 덜 중요하게 여기는 것 같다... 아니면 물질 소유권도 잡히지 않으면 그만이라는 사람들일까?
and this guy even has Phd... sigh... is intellectual property less important than material property? or do you think that if you are not caught, its ok?

휴... 가장 모범적이어야 하는 정치인, 교사들을 포함한 유명인들이 표절을 하고 있으니... 그리고 대학교나 대학원에서는 그런 일조차 모르고 있으니... 한국 대학 사정을 알것 같다...
sigh... popular people like politicians and teachers should be most moral, but they are the ones who are plagiarizing... and universities didn't even know about it... shame on Korean universities...

높아지기 위해서는 방법을 가리지 않는다... 무서운 발상이다... 목표보다는 방법을 중요시 해야하는데... 한국 사회는 어릴때부터 방법보다는 목표를 중요시 교육을 하는 것 같다...
do anything to get to the top... such a dangerous mindset... one must value the method over goal... but in Korean society, we learn to value the goal more than method since youth...

예를 들어 겨우 초등학교 입학하는 아이들에게 너는 서울대 가야한다하며 여러개의 학원에 다니는것을 보라... 휴...
for example, sending an elementary children to various off school activities telling them, 'you must enter Harvard'... sigh...

한국 사회는 언제 바뀌기 시작할까? 언제부터 아이들이 꿈을 꾸며 자신이 하고 싶은 일을 할까? 지금 아이들을 보면 목표없이 좋은 대학가는 부질없는 꿈속에서 살아가고 있다... 그래서 자살율도 제일 높지 않을까라는 짧은 생각을 해본다...
when will Korean society change? when will the children have their own dreams and do what they want to do? when you look at the children now, they just want to goto the good college... then what? in my humble opinion, maybe that's why we have such high suicide rate...
