짜뚜짝 주말시장 Chatuchak Weekend Market

태국에서 가장 큰 주말시장은 짜뚜짝 주말시장이다... 태국에서 20여년 살면서 2-3번밖에 않가봤다... 그래서 요번에 태국 방콕 여행자들을 위해 가는 방법과 짜뚜짝 지도 및 판매 물품을 소개하겠습니다.
Chatuchak Weekend Market is the biggest market in Thailand... though i've been living in thailand for nearly 20 years now, i only went there once or twice... so i'd like to introduce how to get there as well as the map of Chatuchak & things they sell...

일단 짜뚜짝 주말시장의 간단한 설명으로 시작하겠다... 짜뚜짝 공원 옆에 위치해 있으며 규모는 엄청나다... 제이제이 (JJ) 마켓으로도 알려져 있으며 하루 종일 돌아다닐 수는 있지만 방콕의 뜨거운 열기때문에 기절부터 할 것 같다...
first, let me explain a bit about Chatuchak market... its located next to Chatuchak park and its size is grand... its also known as JJ market; though you can walk around for days at end, you'd probably be faint due to the heat...

짜뚜짝 주말시장에서 판매하는 물품은 옷, 가구, 골동품, 헌책방, 수공예품, 애완동물, 식물 및 꽃, 세라믹과 도자기 등이 있다...
things on the market include clothes, furniture, antiques, second hand books, handicrafts, pets, plants and flowers, ceramic and dish...

최근에 짜뚜짝 시장에 불이 났다고 하던데 가기 전에 복구가 되었는지 확인해보세요...
but i heard there was a fire in chatuchak market... make sure its recovered before going there...

가는 방법
Getting there

가는 방법은 간단하다... 방콕 bts 지상철을 타고 모칫 (Mo Chit) 종점에서 내리면 된다... 종점에서 내려가 보면 아래 사진처럼 Chatuchak Market 이라고 써있는 화살표를 따라가면 된다...
getting there is easy... take Bangkok BTS sky train to Mo Chit station, which happens to be the last station... when you step off the platform, there will be signs to Chatuchak Market; just follow the signs...

자상하게도 짜뚜짝 주말시장 가는 길을 알려주고 있다... 화살표만 따라가면 된다...

처음 계획은 짜뚜짝 시장에서 판매하는 모든 물품을 찍는 것이었다... 12월 선선한 날씨임에도 불구하고 2-3시간 걸어다니니 기절하기 일보직전... 몇군데는 포기하고 일부분만 찍어서 올렸다... ^^
my original plan was to take pictures of every section of the Chatuchak... though it was a cool December weather, after walking around for 2-3 hours, i was about to faint... so here's what i have thus far... ^^

외국 사람들이 많다... 신발도 있고 옷들도 있다...
there are many foreigners... they got shoes and clothes...

여기는 골동품 파는 곳... 저 칼 사고 싶다... ^^

어린이용 시계... 단돈 100바트 밖에 않된다... 훗...
children watch... its only 100 baht... lol...

음료수... 100% 오랜지 쥬스 없었으면 기절했을거다~ 진짜 달콤하다...
drinks... if they didnt have 100% pure orange juice, i'd have fainted.... its really sweet...

시장에서 빼먹을 수 없는 먹거리...
food~! whats a market without food?

전자 제품... 요새 LED 않파는 곳이 없다...
electronics... they sell LED everywhere now...

길거리에서 쇼도 해준다~ 팁은 알아서들 하시길... ^^

애완동물 섹션~ 귀엽다...
animal pet section~ they are really cute...

꽃이다~ 바로 옆에는 식물 가계... 꽃이 참 저렴했다...
flowers~ and plant shop right next door... flowers are really cheap...

짜뚜짝 시장에 간 진짜 이유... 바로 수지 생일 위해 릴리 찾으러 갔다... 일석이조로 꽃도 사고 블로그도 하고...
the real reason why i went to Chatuchak market... to find lily for Suzie's bday... kill two birds with one stone; buy the flower and blog about it!
