거꾸로 든 태극기 - 분노의 핑퐁 Balls of Fury [2007]

분노의 핑퐁이라는 코미디는 랜디 대이토나 라는 어린 학생이 한국에서 열린 88 올림픽 핑퐁 대회에 참석하는 장면으로 시작한다...
Balls of Fury is a ping pong comedy which starts when a young student named Randy Daytona enters Korean 1988 Olympics...

랜디의 코치겸 아버지는 랜디가 이길 것을 확신하고 명성이 아주 나쁜 악당과 내기를 한다...
Randy's coach and father has great confidence that his son will win; so he bets with a bad company...

그러나 랜디는 장애물에 걸려 넘어지고 경기에서 지게 된다... 그리고 악당과 내기했던 아버지는 살해되고 마는데...
but Randy trips over a stand and loses the match... and his father murdered by the gang...

세월은 흘러 랜디가 자라 아버지를 복수할 기회가 주어진다...
years passed and Randy finally got a chance to avenge his father...

오랜 세월 동안 탁구를 않친 랜디의 실력은 형편도 없다... 이제 그의 새로운 코치는 이쁜 매기 큐...
because he didnt play for a long time, he sucks big time... and his new coach is pretty Maggie Q...

탁구와 쿵푸의 조합으로 만든 코미디 분노의 핑퐁은 소림 축구 같다... 탁구를 치는데 다들 완전 날라다닌다... 훗
a fine combination between ping pong and kungfu... a comedy like shaolin soccer... they are all over the place while playing table tennis... lol

그리고 왠만하면 다 아는 크리스토퍼 월켄, 캐리 히로유키 타카와, 매기 큐 같은 유명한 배우들이 많이 조연했다...
and the actors include world famous Christopher Walken, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa & Maggie Q...

근데 다음 사진은 영화 보다가 발견한 것... 흠...
but i found the following in the movie... hmmm...

관중객 중 한명이 태극기를 꺼꾸로 들고 있다...
one of the bystander is holding the flag of south korea upside down...

요새 한국이 강국이고 많이 발달했다고는 하지만... 외국 사람들은 아직도 태극기 제대로 드는 사람이 없다...
though Koreans pride in themselves saying they are "developed", many foreigners doesnt know which side is up...

심지어 대한민국 대통령이라는 사람도 꺼꾸로 드는 국가인데... 훗...
even Korean president holds it upside down... lol...
