Where is God? 하나님은 어디에...

you have to wonder... where was God in all those mass deaths...
한번은 생각하게 된다... 그 많은 사람들이 죽어갈때 하나님은 어디에 있었는지...

tsunami for one... earthquakes... concentration camps...
스나미도 그렇고... 지진이며... 강제 수용소까지...

natural disasters are one thing... but human killing each other?
자연 재해는 그렇다 치고... 사람끼리 죽이는 건 뭔가?

or is natural disasters human doing as well?
아니면 자연 재해도 사람이 만든 걸까?

we've been consuming the resources as if it will last forever...
마치 자원이 평생 갈듯 맘껏 쓰고 있는 우리들... 

God commanded to rule over the world... not consume them... 
하나님께서는 세상을 다스리라고 하셨는데... 우리는 지금 세상을 소모하고 있다...

Watching Titanic makes me wonder...
타이타닉을 보면서 생각이 난건데..

if i was on the boat... what would i have done? just watch them die because there's nothing i can do?
운좋게 내가 구명보트에 타게 됐다면... 난 어떻게 했을까... 수많은 사람들이 그냥 죽어 가는 것을 보고 있었을까? 그들을 도와 주지 못하니깐...

Or go back there and die trying?
아니면 죽음을 무릅쓰고 도와주러 갔을까?

What is the "right" thing to do then?
이 때는 뭐가 "의"이며 옳은 선택일까?

i learnt this when i received training for rescue... do not try to be a hero and go save a drowning person without the proper equipment...
전에 구조 대원 훈련을 받을 때 배운 것이 있는데... 물에 빠진 사람 제대로 된 장비 없이 구해주러 가지 말란다... 

that i will die with them... and another key point... dont try to save them when they are lively... strength of people in face of death is unimaginable...
같이 빠져 죽는다고... 또 한가지... 살아서 발버둥 칠때도 가지 말란다... 죽음 앞에 놓여진 사람의 힘을 감당 못한다고...

In such cases... wait til they tire or knock them out...
그럴때는 기다렸다가 지칠때쯤 가거나 한대 때려서 기절 시켜야된다...

anyways...
암튼...

And all those nazi killing Jews... would i have done as commanded... or be killed for not following commands...
유대인 학살에 동참한 나찌들은 어떤가? 난 그냥 명령에 따랐을까? 아니면 불복종하고 죽었을까?

talk and words are easy... but when you are actually there... how will i act...
말로 하는 것은 쉽지만... 직접 당해보면... 난 어떻게 행동할까...

fear indifference of good...
선한 자들의 무관심을 두려워하라...
