영어를 처음 배우는 사람은 shit 이라는 단어를 어느순간 습득하게 된다... 우리가 그렇게 자주 쓰는 단어 shit... 오늘은 그 근원을 알아보도록 하자...

After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the instruction "Stow High In Transit" on them, which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane.
그 이후, 대변 수송물은 "Stow High in Transit (높은 곳에 보관)" 이라는 도장을 항상 찍었습니다. 갑판아래에 보관할 경우 만약에 물이 들어와 위함한 수송물이 젖어 메탄가스 생산을 방지하기 위해 높이 곳에 보관하라는 경고 입니다...

Thus evolved the term "S.H.I.T", (Stow High In Transit) which has come down through the centuries and is in use to this very day. 
그러므로 "S.H.I.T (Stow High in Transit)" 이라는 단어가 생겨났습니다... 지금도 이 단어를 많이 사용하지요...
