치앙라이 여행기 - 코끼리 캠프 엣 아난타라 골든 트라이앵글 리조트 Chiang Rai Travel Diary - Elephant Camp at Anantara Golden Triangle Resort

치앙라이는 태국의 북부에 위치한 산 지역이다... 태국의 장미라고도 불리우는 치앙마이에서 2시간 정도 거리에 있는 치앙라이는 코끼리 캠프로도 유명하다...
Chiang Rai is mountainous region north of Thailand... it is 2 hours from Chiang Mai, also known as the rose of Thailand... it is also known for its elephant camps...

특히 내가 머문 아난타라 골든 트라이앵글 리조트는 코끼리 캠프로 특히 유명하다...
and anantara golden triangle, where i stayed, is especially famous for elephant camps...

그리고 내가 알기로는 배우고 싶은 사람들은 코끼리 훈련 방법도 배울 수 있다...
i believe they got elephant training camp for those of you who are interested...

특별히 코끼리를 좋아하는 건 아니지만 여기까지와서 코끼리 캠프를 않가면 아쉬울것 같아서 한번 들렸다...
though i dont particularly like elephants, i thought if i didnt visit the camp, i'd miss a great opportunity; so here i am presenting to you the elephant camp at Anantara Golden Triangle Resort...

근데 한번 집고 넘어가야할것... 코끼리들이 많이 불쌍하다... 태국 방콕 길거리에서도 가끔식 걸어다니는것을 보는데... 콘크리트 바닥에서 걸어다는 것이 발바닥에 많이 않좋다고 한다... 그리고 낫 같은 호미로 계속 때린다 ㅠㅠ
but one thing to be sure of... these elephants suffer alot... i see some elephants walking around the streets of bangkok; i heard walking on concrete floors is bad for the feet... and trainers keep hitting them with a scythe looking hoe... T,T

코끼리 캠프로 가는 길... 산책하는 느낌으로 들어가봤다~

코끼리 캠프에 있는 닭... 예외로 닭이 많다... ㅋㅋ
chicken at the elephant camp... surprisingly, there are so many chickens... lol

나는 그냥 아기 코끼리 캠프만 갔다... 조금더 걸어가면 성인 코끼리가 있다고 했지만 별로 가보기는 싫었다...
i just went to the baby elephant camp... if i went further, i could've reached adult camp... but not really my taste...

불쌍한 코끼리들... 가서 바나나나 많이 주고 왔다... 근데 바나나가 무료닷~!
poor elephants; i gave them tons of bananas... lol... and those bananas are free~!
