이퀼리브리엄 Equilibrium [2002]

처음에 영화가 나왔을 때부터 좋아했던 영화...
i liked this movie from the beginning...

책으로도 비슷한 내용이 많이 나왔지요...
and many books with similar content as well...

영화의 제목은 이퀼리브리엄, 굳이 번역한다면 평형 또는 평정이라고 할까요?
the name of the movie is Equilibrium, which means stability... 

내용은 전세계가 제3차 세계대전을 통해 더 이상 전쟁이 있으면 인류가 망할 거라고 예견하고 새로운 나라를 건국하게 되었습니다.
it starts at the end of World War III, when people realized that if there is a fourth world war, humanity will no longer exist... thus a new power raised amongst the ashes...

그 나라에서는 전쟁의 원인인 사람의 감정을 얻제하는 약을 사용하기 시작했습니다...
in that nation, they started using a drug to compress human emotions, the source of the war...

그리고 감점을 불러오는 모든 미술 및 음악 등을 찾아서 불태우는 경찰/군인도 있지요...
and there is a force that seeks out sense offenders and art and music that makes you feel.

그러던중 그 분야에서 최고였던 경찰이 약 사용을 거부하기 시작했고 사람의 감정을 되찾아가는 이야기입니다...
and one of the top enforcer started not taking the drug and the story goes from there... path to reclaiming human emotion...

액션도 많고 많은 생각을 하게 하는 영화로 지금 다시 봐도 잼있습니다.
its packed with action with thinking involved; even now, its still good for me.
