배터리 수명 연장 모드 (BLX) Battery Life Extender Mod 본문
예전에 나온 배터리는 항상 완충 및 방전을 완전히 하여야 배터리 용량 저하를 줄일 수 있는데 넥서스 s 처럼 새로 나온 리튬 이온 전지는 그럴 필요가 없다.
Previous battery needed full charge/discharge cycle to prevent reducing battery capacity... but for lithium-ion battery, the one nexus s uses, does not need to.
리튬 이온 전지의 특징은 완충 또는 배터리가 조금 남아있을 때 배터리 용량 저하가 많아진다. 즉 배터리 수명이 짦아진다는 것이다. 그런 이유로 넥서스 s 같은 경우 100% 로 충전이 않되고 95% 정도까지만 충전이 되는 것이다.
characteristics of lithium-ion battery is that when its fully charged or when its low on battery, it degrades battery capacity... in other words, life of your battery dies out. for those reasons, stock Nexus S only charges to 95% instead of 100%...
Ezekeel 님의 배터리 수명 연장 (BLX) 모드를 사용하면 충전 한도를 정해줄 수 있다. 다음 코드에서 100을 원하는 숫자로 바꿔주면 된다...

필자 생각으로는 배터리 같은 소모품이야 2-3년 후에 새로 사면된다고 생각하고 100으로 하였다... 그럼 100%까지 충전이 가능하다~! 그리고 2-3년 후에는 새로운 넥서스를 사용하고 있겠지... ㅋㅋ
for me, i think i will buy things like battery in next 2-3 years... so i chose to charge to 100%... anyways, i will be using new Nexus in next 2-3 years... >,<
